I realized in all the hullabaloo, that we don't actually have a favorite book thread. So, without further ado, what IS your favorite book(s)?
---
For me, I'd say it's a mixup between the Hitchhiker's Guide saga, and the Phantom Tollbooth.

All things Discworld. I'm still catching up on the whole series since there's like fifteen thousand of those books out there or something...I gotta respect the guy for rolling with it for so long.
Of the books I have read so far, I liked Mort and The Color of Magic the best.
There's lots of others that I can't remember at the moment, too. I'm pretty tired right now, and my head is swarming with twenty years of books. You probably can't tell, but when I was little I was that kid that spent more time in the library than with actual people...I liked learning things and reading new stories more than pretending to like my fellow human beings.
I was never much of a potterhead, though.

I played the Discworld games when I was like 4 to 5 years old. My dad worked for Symantec, and always brought home games guys at work lent him.
I remember playing them and laughing at the physical humor allot. Nowadays I can vaguely remember the more advanced humor, things like "Oh God, I could murder a good curry right now." said by Death.
lol.

My Mother owns thousend of books, most of them Romans.
She read them all min. twice or tripple.
I read of them maybe 0,1% and that was Lord of the Rings and some others.
I always read science Magazines, Newpaper and specialised books (honey bee for example).
So I think Lord of the Rings is my fav. Roman book, and one of my fav. specialiced book is a Animal Lexicon, a pretty old one but with lots of sweet pictures.

My favorite books beside the Bible are the Left Behind series (number 1 faves), 999 (not what you think, its a collection of amazingly dark and excellent stories, the best being The Shadow, The Darkness), the Pendragon Series, and Deathly Hallows. I have a giant list of fav. books actually, but i'm just going to put in a few right now. Besides the Left Behind Series and 999, these are not my top faves. Just some of them.

Bible is really boring book, but that's what I would expect from religious literature.

I don't have a favourite book, after every book I read I say it's my favourite.

So if someone forces you to read some really horrible book it's your favorite?

No, it applies for most books I choose to read.

My personal favorite is Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. That series is so great.
Man I really hate Harry Potter but w/e, like Zella I really get into what I read at the time and then on revision they aren't as good as I thought until I re-read them and all the old love comes back

Sadly, i've only read three. Thankfully, they were all entertaining. The color of magic and light fantastic <3. The amazing Maurice wasn't too bad but it was nowhere near the color of magic/ light fantastic.
The person above me has the best name ever.
I do not really have a favorite, but if I had to pick, it would probably be Divine Comedy. In my opinion, if it is a good read, I will read it.
